I apologize for not sending one of these out to you sooner. It seems like a lot has been going on since July started. The Crosser’s came back from their 6 month furlough and the Casey’s left for theirs. In between that window where our whole team was here, we had a team retreat just north of here which went incredibly well. Italy won the world cup this month, which served as a great cultural experience for me watching the entire city of Ancona erupt in celebration. About a week or so ago, I was pretty ill with the flu and allergies. It wasn’t fun, but in the midst of having a bad week, I got my permit to stay renewed for a duration of 2 years! Besides helping out with our weekly coffee house and leading a cell group with the interns, I have been finding time to hang out with several different Italians during the week. Next week, I am going to Rome for a Christian Church conference. I am pretty excited about it because I will get to see some of the friends I have made at the church there in Roma. It will be a evangelistic conference in nature, and I am excited to participate in the activities that are planned for it.

Please be in prayer this week for:

  • The Terracina Conference – that God would move in a mighty way as He gathers His children to share the good news
  • My friend Maurizio – that God would reveal Himself to him in a very real way and show him how to give his life to Jesus
  • Our team’s (and church’s) fruitfulness – we have started our studies on the Fruit of the Spirit and hope the Spirit uses them to bear such fruit in our lives
  • Our interns – they have about 2 weeks left here in Italy, pray that the friends they are making will continue to draw near to Christ

Thank you so much for praying. You are such a vital part of this ministry!
