I have three articles for you to check out today:

1) Nicholas Wolterstorff’s review of The Craftsman by Richard Sennett.

2) Thomas J. Bridges critiques Mark C. Taylor’s Death of God theology

3) Charles Guignon displays the “hatchet job” of S.J. McGrath’s (very) critical introduction to Heidegger [H/T: Anthony Paul Smith]

Back story on the 3rd article. I published a (quite harsh) book review of McGrath on this blog a few months back which caught the attention of the author himself which resulted in me taking the book review down from my blog. I felt a bit vindicated in my hunch about the book today when I read Guignon’s take on the book. When I wrote the review, I lacked the know-how and after the butt kicking by the author, I felt the hunch was way off… But today, I know that I wasn’t the only one who thought that something was wrong with the book…

Better luck next time…
