So, before Christmas, I had only heard about the amazon kindle. After Christmas, I’m reading all I can on it. Today I came across this really helpful program called Auto Kindle which allows you to convert your PDF files into MOBI files.

Since Durham’s library has helped me cope with the tightening of my book buying budget, I’ve had to just hold the books and then give them back. But with the Kindle, I can carry them with me, in an electronic file of course. I think what I like about the new kindle most is that it reads to you. That’s right, when you’re too lazy to read, for instance, Aquinas, you can choose either a female or male computery voice to read it audibly for you.

Anyway, thanks to Santa and this new program that I found today, I have just maximized my reading pleasure.
